Thomas Salzano is known for his creative writing and his inspiring poetry. Thomas Salzano says, “everyone needs a direction in life no matter how experienced you are. You will need someone to inspire and you.”
Thomas has some creative ideas to share with us which can help the aspiring poets to decide their topic of interest and proceed with their poetry:
Discovery: think of something that you have recently discovered and portray it as an inspiration. The discovery can be related to a person, thing or event. Mainly about the traditional culture or l stories that inspired you.
Fantasy: write about fairies, elves, gnomes or other mythical creatures. Anything that you can imagine or fantasies you or even about how the fairytale stories inspired you when you were a child and now what do you think about your fantasy.
Acrostic: Choose a word and write an acrostic poem where each line starts with a letter from the word.
Left Out: write about a time when you have felt left out or about someone you feel is feeling the same around you. Your views and feelings pen them down as these are the true feelings that can never go wrong.
Poem with Onomatopoeia: Swing, Buzz, pop use such onomatopoeia in your poem.
Break the Silence: Record your voice when you alone and talk about anything you feel like expressing any joke or feeling. Then write down what you spoke and revise it into a short story or poem.
Blog-o-sphere: Visit your favorite blog, feed reader, read your article or a book then craft a poem about the same pick points from your latest findings and readings.
Bring on the Cheese: Write a tacky love poem that is a bit cheesy, break it into parts and always end them on some suspense which you will reveal in the second part.
Questions: Write about the questions you have for the universe. Your confusion about the powers and your desires. Write about the 11:11 clock time mystery and other such topics.
Outside the Window: people usually write about the view outside the window, you can try it too.
To start writing a poem you need the right inspiration and if you start to pen down your own view and then move forward with the other side of the story, it will be easy for you to write and stay motivated is what Thomas Salzano feels about poetry writing.
